"3 Soloists, One Star" is the twenty-third episode of the fourth season of Dance Moms. It first aired on August 12, 2014.
Synopsis
This week the ALDC heads to Shenandoah Valley, VA but with Maddie away filming a guest appearance on Ellen, Abby realizes that her #1 dancer's career is taking off and she'll need someone who can win in Maddie's absence. Abby pits Chloe, Nia and Kendall head to head to see who can step up to the plate with character driven solos. Christy's jealousy puts her daughter place on the team in dire jeopardy.

- Abby had the girls compete in a dance-off to determine who would get the lead role in the group dance. The role was ultimately given to Kendall.
- The group dance was inspired by Cher's 1971 song Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves.
- During the week, the girls (including Kalani and the Select Ensemble minus Sarah H and Ava) performed at Cabaret for a Cause.
