"A New Era" is the first episode of Dance Moms: A New Era. It first aired on August 7, 2024.
Synopsis[]
A new era of Dance Moms begins as the next generation of the Junior Elite Competition Team from Studio Bleu hits the stage. The pressure is on from their instructor Glo, their moms, and the dance world as these seven dancers try to shatter expectations.

- Out of the 14 remaining dancers in the final callbacks of the audition process, seven dancers were cut: Bentley Neblett, Gabriella Rosiek, Gina Zhang, Kayleigh Feuchtwanger, and Olivia Rosiek.
- Two dancers, Kennedy and Maddy Mirabella, were cut before decisions were finalized due to the "trash" confrontation between their mother and Glo.
- Olivia and Gabriella's mother, Christine, can be seen present in the two-month prior flashback shown in Pointe of No Return during Domenica and Roxce's argument, implying that either one or both sisters were supposed to be in the original cast.
