"Abby's Audition" is the thirteenth episode of the eighth season of Dance Moms. It first aired on August 20, 2019.
Synopsis
With nationals quickly approaching, the moms lash out when Abby decides to hold an open call audition for a new team member; Pressley and Hannah compete for their shot to perform at nationals; Abby receives devastating news from Los Angeles.[1]

- Six dancers auditioned for the team: Alaina Scabora (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) from the Abby Lee Dance Company, Berkleigh Hernandez (Crofton, Maryland) from C & C Dance Co, Elli DeMarco (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) from Intensity Dance Academy, Landree Douglas (Cleveland, Tennessee) from Studio D, Paris Moore (Jacksonville, North Carolina) from Lux Dance Project, and William Colin (New Albany, Indiana) from DanceWorks.
- Two new dancers joined the team this week, Berkleigh Hernandez and Paris Moore. Both had originally made the Top 21 at the auditions.
- This is the last episode to feature Amanda and Berkleigh Hernandez.
