Other Information

  • It has been claimed by a witness sitting behind the CADC (and photographed with Cathy) that the Abby Lee Dance Company received a Platinum adjudication for their group dance, while Candy Apple's received a Diamond adjudication; which would have made Candy Apple's score higher than the ALDC's.[3][4] All parties agree the ALDC were formally presented with first place at awards, ahead of the second place "Own It"; official results also give this order of placing.[2]
  • Future CADC member Nick Daniels was present at the competition and competed under both Encore Performing Arts Center and Art of Gymnastics and Cheer. One of Art of Gymnastics and Cheer's group dances ("The 151st Psalm") came 3rd after the CADC.
  • Chloe, Kendall, and Nia also competed their solos for title, which would only allow them to perform the first minute and a half of their original length routine.[5]
    • Chloe's full solo that was posted on Lifetime's channel (as well as Kendall and Nia's solos that were aired in the episode) was the version where it was competed for title.[6]
    • Lifetime's music guide for the episode contained the original edited music lengths of the solos, not the trimmed minute-and-a-half versions used for the title category performances.[7]
