"Brynn's Big Moment" is the twelfth episode of the sixth season of Dance Moms. It first aired March 22, 2016.

Synopsis

Abby brings in Todrick Hall to direct the girls in a big musical commercial inspired by The Wiz in an attempt to get new customers to sign up at the ALDC. Maddie and Brynn captain trio teams of their choosing that compete head to head. The pressure is on for Brynn as she will finally become an official member of the ALDC if her trio wins. Can she beat Maddie or will she be sent packing?

• Kira finally returned to filming this week. She also brought Jett with her to the competition.
• Although the show made it seem as if Kira threw her water bottle at Jessalynn, Kira clarified that she actually threw it at one of the producers.
• The group was based on The Wiz, a famous adaption of The Wizard of Oz. Each of the girls portrayed a character:
  • Brynn: Scarecrow
  • JoJo: Tin Man
  • Kalani: Glinda the Good Witch
  • Kendall: Wicked Witch
  • Mackenzie: Toto

• The group dance marks the second time that a song featuring a Dance Moms cast member has been used for a routine. The first being Brooke's solo in Gone, Abby Gone.
• January 10: Nia and Brynn, as well as their mothers, went to Disneyland.
• January 11: Nia shooting with Big City Kids Magazine in Huntington Beach.
• January 12: JoJo got a yorkie teacup puppy named "BowBow".
• January 12: Jessalynn taught a class at the ALDC LA with JoJo assisting.
• The producers said that Kira got into an argument with Ashlee and Jessalynn at the competition. Jessalynn said that Kira was sitting at home doing whatever she wanted again at the competition. Jessalynn also stated that she wishes she could do the same things if she had the option sarcastically. Ashlee stated that Kira needs to grow up and have her brain checked and work for her child. Ashlee even described that if Kira could be at a contestant show for 12 weeks with her child (Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition) then she should be here on a competition team with her child. Jessalynn agreed with Ashlee's opinion. Kira got mad at the moms that were attacking her and said I am not coming back next week, however she still appeared the following week.
