"Choose Wisely" is the fourth episode of the eighth season of Dance Moms. It first aired on June 18, 2019.
Synopsis
Abby makes a shocking announcement that she's sending someone home; Stacey and Tricia go to war over Abby's star dancer, Brady; when tasked with picking their own duet partners, the young dancers fear that the wrong decision could send them home.[1]

- Hannah and Lilliana's duet marks the third time that a song featuring a Dance Moms cast member has been used for a routine. The first being Brooke's solo in Gone, Abby Gone and the second being the group dance in Brynn's Big Moment.
- Lilliana, Pressley, and Savannah got to choose their duet partners:
- Lilliana chose Hannah as her duet partner.
- Pressley chose Brady as her duet partner.
- Savannah chose Sarah as her duet partner.
Goofs/Errors
- Throughout the week, it was speculated that Cathy and Candy Apple's Dance Center would be at the competition with Vivi-Anne and her tap partner competing a duet against the ALDC duets. However, they were not present on the day.[3][4]
- In the scene where Stacey said that Lilly was shook being accused of being jealous of Brady, Lilly's makeup was gone. However, it appeared back when Lilly said she wasn't jealous. Her makeup disappeared again when Abby was discussing about the situation of the jealousy and Lilly missing her side aerial in the group dance.
- After the group dance, Lilly stated that she missed her side aerial because she was too close to Pressley and she would've kicked her in the face and kick the curtain in a diagonal way when was actually too close to the lane of the stage and was a couple feet away from Pressley and the curtain.
