"Dance Moms Cares Special" is a special episode of the fourth season of Dance Moms. It first aired on December 10, 2013 in Canada, and January 14, 2014 in the US.
Synopsis
In this special filmed at the end of last year, the Abby Lee Dance Company shows there is no downtime even in the offseason. Abby enters her girls in a big Atlantic City dance competition that benefits the fight against cancer. All the moms are on edge as it's the first time the team is competing since the blow up at Nationals. Meanwhile, cancer hits close to home while Abby deals with her own mother's fight with the disease.

Other Information
- The competition took place the week following Nationals in The Big, Not So, Easy. Chloe and Christi were absent as they were on vacation.
- In the U.S, the episode was originally intended to premiere on October 22, 2013 as part of Season 3. The episode was pushed back twice to November 26, 2013 and then December 10, 2013 before it finally aired on January 14, 2014.
- Payton's solo costume was previously used for Nina Linhart's solos "Accentuate the Positive" in 2011 and "Fever" in 2013.
