"Double the Moms, Double the Trouble" is the twenty-first episode of the fourth season of Dance Moms. It first aired on July 29, 2014.
Synopsis
Abby kicks off the new dance season by bringing back her winning Select Team to compete against her original Elite Team for a rematch in Wheeling, WV. With Mackenzie's pop song climbing the charts, Abby rewards her with a solo against Christy's daughter Sarah. The original Dance Moms grow furious that Abby is once again favoring her new team but it’s the Select Moms who really can’t stand the heat.[1]

- This marks Sarah Hunt's first performance alongside the Select Ensemble, after being removed from the group dance in Presenting My New Team.
- Following the airing of this episode, Kira took to Twitter to explain that her and Kalani chose to leave the show as they prioritised family over fame.[2] She later expanded upon this in an interview with the International Business Times, stating that producers had asked her to sign a seven-year contract in order to stay on Season 4.[3]
- Brooke Kosinski and Rylee Pratt also attended the competition and performed solos.
