Synopsis

With her mother's health declining, Abby leaves the girls and their mothers to fend for themselves at this week's competition; the pending arrival of a new team looms over Abby's original team.

  • The title of the group dance is a play on Hollywood and Vine, the name of the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street in Hollywood; as well as "Bollywood" in India, which is known for producing that country's movies.
  • In an Afterbuzz interview towards the end of February, Melissa, Maddie and Mackenzie indicated how much they enjoyed one of Nia's musical theatre solos on a "weird stage". Melissa said she had goosebumps, while Maddie said she was laughing the whole time, as it was like a comedy dance.
