Holly Hatcher-Frazier (born May 11, 1970) is the mother of Nia Frazier. She also has two sons, Evan and William Frazier. Her husband is Evan Frazier, Sr.
Holly frequently argues with Abby about the lack of attention she gives Nia in the studio and the uninspiring choreography Nia is often assigned, which Holly feels isn't at a "competitive standard," as well as her displeasure with Abby's tendency to typecast Nia in various ethnic roles, particularly in the first two seasons. However, Holly has gained a reputation for keeping a calm attitude in most situations, completely refraining from the use of profanity, and willingly serving as the mediator in many conflicts, earning her the title of "The Rational One" among the dance moms.
Early in the history of the show, Holly finished her Doctorate in Education from the University of Pennsylvania.[2][3] At times on the show, she is named "Dr. Holly," using her academic title.
Holly and Nia were original members who remained on the elite team from the very beginning of the series until season seven, when they left the ALDC with the other elite members (except for Brynn) to form The Irreplaceables in Ashlee's Big Decision Part 1.

- She celebrated her twentieth wedding anniversary with Evan Sr. on August 12th, 2015.[4]

- When Holly was a college student, she was part of a dance group that danced with African music and learned African dances.

- Explaining their reasons for intending to return to the ALDC after Season 5, Nia said that she had ties to since attending at age three, with Holly adding that Abby might not care about her so much, but Abby did care about Nia.[12][13]

- She attended a specialized high school for humanities in New York City and took up Latin and Spanish classes.[11]
- She finished her first year of college during her last year of high school.[11]
- She would like for Nia to attend college after high school.[11]
- Praying, exercising, talking to her mom or sister, reading, and hanging out with the other dance moms are her top five ways to blow off steam.[11]
- Some of her favorite family dishes are baked ziti, sweet potato pie, and macaroni and cheese.[11]
- Holly is the only original cast mom to be featured on the first seven seasons of the show.
- She was the only original mom that did not use profanity on the show.
- After Season 7B of "Dance Moms" ended Holly pulled Nia out of ALDC and enrolled her at Dance Mechanics. Nia attended Dance Mechanics until she graduated from high school.
- In 2020, Holly alongside Jill Vertes, Kelly Hyland , and Melissa Ziegler launched a podcast entitled "Because Mom Said So."
