Jessalynn Siwa (Lombardi)[10] is the mother of JoJo Siwa. Originally a dance teacher and studio owner from Nebraska (originally Iowa). Jessalynn and JoJo began starring on Dance Moms early in Season 5. In recent news, Jess has her own podcast and YouTube called Success with Jess.
Along with JoJo, Jessalynn previously appeared on the second season of Abby's Ultimate Dance Contest.

- Jessalynn's mom, Kathy, appears in the episode West Coast Strikes Back. JoJo performs a solo for her grandmother, as she is visiting Los Angeles with Stage 4 colon cancer.
- Jessalyn owned her dance studio for around twenty years[11] before it shut down in 2016.
- While on AUDC, rivals nicknamed her and her daughter's act as the "Jessalynn and JoJo circus," a play on a Disney program aimed at preschool children.
