Mackenzie Frances Ziegler (born June 4, 2004) is the youngest child of Melissa Ziegler-Gisoni and Kurt Ziegler and is the younger sister of Maddie Ziegler.

About

Mackenzie began dancing at the age of two at the Abby Lee Dance Company. For a majority of her time on Dance Moms, Mackenzie was the youngest permanent dancer on the elite competition team. She was often compared to her older sister Maddie by Abby Lee Miller.

On April 2, 2014, Mackenzie released her debut single "It's a Girl Party" which served as the lead single from her debut album "Mack Z" which was later released on April 26, 2014. The album reached #1 on the iTunes pop chart list in America[4], as well as reaching #7 on their overall album charts.[5].

After appearing on the show for 5 years, Mackenzie and her family decided to depart from the show in Season 6 to pursue other projects. The Ziegler sisters made their final appearance in Maddie and Mackenzie Say Goodbye. She retired from competitive dance in One Last Dance but continued to take classes at Dance Mechanics.
