"Out with the Bleu, in with the New" is the first episode of the second season of Dance Moms: A New Era. It first aired on December 8, 2025.


Synopsis[]

After Studio Bleu's fall, the elite team rebuilds as Project X. Glo faces new pressure as her daughter Kaeli joins to coach alongside her. Smiley and Leilah battle for the first solo, while Ashlan struggles to top her Nationals breakout.

  • Unlike most Dance Moms competitions in the later seasons, the event was not an invitational competition. Despite filming only lasting for Saturday's schedule, alleged attendees from participating dance studios were not informed about filming.[2]
  • Despite being in the group dance, Leilah was not registered to dance with the group in the schedule.
  • Bellatrix's solo reuses her costume from her 2023 competition season solo "Gimme Gimme".
  • Leilah's solo reuses her costume from a 2024 group dance "Purse First".
  • For unknown reasons, Leilah's solo was registered under as a lyrical routine.
  • February 24: Bellatrix's 13th birthday.
