"The Girls Say Goodbye" is the twentieth episode of the sixth season of Dance Moms. It first aired May 17, 2016.
Synopsis
Jai Rodriguez hosts a very special episode of Dance Moms where the girls from the ALDC say goodbye to Maddie and Mackenzie. They’ll play outrageous games and answer questions from die-hard fans. Later, Todrick Hall makes a special guest appearance to perform with the girls. We will witness the girls' heartfelt goodbyes to the Zieglers and watch them dance together for the very last time.[2]

Other Information
- A video montage featuring various old cast members such as Cathy and Vivi-Anne, Jeanette and Ava, Black Patsy and Nicaya, Gino and Laquifa was shown. In the montage they wished the Zieglers good luck for their futures.
- Todrick Hall attended the filming of the episode and performed "Freaks Like Me" with the girls.[3]
- The music video for JoJo's song "Boomerang" will premiere during the episode.
- March 2: Some of the girls attended the "So So Happy" beauty launch. Chloe Lukasiak was also in attendance and ran into the girls.
