Synopsis
A look at the new dancers featured in the new season of Dance Moms.[1]

- In July 2018, Executive producer Bryan Stinson confirmed that Season 8 was in the works.[2]
- Producers opened casting applications for Season 8, for dancers aged 7 to 12. Final callbacks were held in front of Abby on September 8th and 9th.[3][4]
- In late December of 2018, Abby confirmed that filming would begin in late the following year.[5]
- On January 11, the team line-up was announced by Abby.[6]
- This is the first episode to feature Amanda and Berkleigh Hernandez, Tricia and Brady Farrar, Joanne and GiaNina Paolantonio, Ann and Hannah Colin, Adriana and Kamryn Smith, Lakisha Samuels and Paris Moore, Ashley and Pressley Hosbach, Michelle and Sarah Georgiana, and Erin and Savannah Kristich.
