"The Return of Studio 19" is the fourteenth episode of the eighth season of Dance Moms. It first aired on August 20, 2019.

Synopsis

GiaNina and Sarah go head-to-head for their shot at dancing a solo at nationals while the team performs a group routine unlike anything done before; Michelle comes to blows with the other moms; a confrontation at competition sends Abby over the edge.[1]

Other Information

  • There was no presentation of a pyramid though the covered pictures could be seen.
  • An argument occurred between Abby and executive producer Bryan Stinson at the competition, with Abby threatening to pull all the ALDC routines.[3]
  • This is the first appearance of Tammy Croftcheck. Katie Watts previously appeared in No More Mamma Drama.
  • This is the last competition to feature Sarah Georgiana in the group dance as well as a solo.

Goofs/Errors

  • When the kids we're arguing in the dressing room den, Lilly was not present. However, she appeared again in Studio A with the team.
