"Welcome Back... Now Don't Get Too Comfy" is the first episode of the fourth season of Dance Moms. It first aired on January 1, 2014.


It’s a new dance season for the Abby Lee Dance Company and Abby drops a bombshell, she will be holding open call auditions across the country searching for new dancers and nobody’s place on the team is safe. Brooke has a big break when country star Jana Kramer invites her up on stage to sing.[1]

  • Nia and Kendall's positions on the pyramid were initially the other way round. However, during the revelation, Abby realized that she had made a mistake and switched the headshots so that Nia was in the middle and Kendall was on the bottom.
  • Brooke performed "Wonder" from her album at the Jana Kramer concert.
  • New England Dance Center attended the competition, including Jade Cloud, who would later feature on the ALDC Junior Select Ensemble.
