"Wingman Down" is the eighth episode of the fourth season of Dance Moms. It first aired on February 18, 2014.
Synopsis
With her wingman Kelly gone, Christi isolates herself from the other mothers; Kalani is tested for a spot on Abby's competition team; Holly worries that Nia will not be prepared for her solo.

- Unlike most competitions, all of the routines in each division competed directly against each other.
- Nia won a scholarship to Broadway Dance Center for her solo.
- Kaeli Ware, Kamryn Beck, Chloe Smith and other guests performed for the ALDC at this competition.[1] In Teen Advanced, some of the routines listed in results include "A Sparrow" and "Screaming Silence". Kamryn, Kaeli, and Chloe Smith had been among those performing as ALDC guest members for "Screaming Silence" previously.[2] Kaeli had also performed "Sparrow" for the ALDC in the past[3].
- At the beginning of pyramid, Abby announces that Brooke and Paige have been kicked out of ALDC and that Kelly will be charged for assaulting her.
- Malena Maust replaced McKaylee True as the lead in "Screaming Silence".
